Hi,
I'm syncing a feature that was shot with up to 10 channels of external audio (without time code).
Using the Auto Sync Audio based on waveform and Append feature Davinci's sync function is hit and miss, understandably. But when I need to manually sync on the Media Page I haven't been able to figure out how to sync more than one audio file to one video file (and how to append the audio and keep the guide track).
I have a work around which involves generating multichannel wave files using the software WAVE AGENT for each take and then syncing to them but there are additional back up files which cannot be easily incorporated into the multichannel files (they are not the same duration and have no time stamp). It would be great if I could sync two or more sound files to one clip manually. Does anyone know if this is possible? At the moment I have to sync the files up on a timeline, but they are not referenced in the video clip when edited from a bin. That means I have to use my syncmap for editing, which is not ideal.
Thanks,
Eric
