Instant Mutlticam crash 17.2.2

I've created a timecode sync'd, 4 angle Multicam, and went about adding it to a normal timeline for editing as usual. The instant I click on the Multicam file in the Media Pool, resolve crashes hard. simply touching the file. repeated again and again. very frustrating! (especially since I did alot of primary grades to the angles!)

Any experience with this bug? Any way out of it? On a deadline please help!

All I can think is to create the Multicam a second time and use that instead.
