Fairlight Audio Editor - Zoom Tracks question

I have a single 5.1 channel clip on one track.

Using the FAE, if I press Zoom and select one of the transport button options (1 Trk, 2 Trks, 4 Trks, 8 Trks, 16 Trks, All Trks) I get some interesting behavior.

1 Track - fills window with the one track, showing all 6 channels
2 Tracks - reduces display to half of window height. So far so good.
4 Tracks - does the same as 1 Track - fills window completely with the one 6 channel track
8 Tracks - does the same as 1 Track - fills window completely with the one 6 channel track
16 Tracks - does the same as 1 Track - fills window completely with the one 6 channel track
All Tracks - does the same as 1 Track - fills window completely with the one 6 channel track

Minor, but repeatable.

When testing the same thing on a 9.1 Auro-3D mix, with 10 mono channels, things work as expected, zooming to the number of tracks indicated, and 16/All tracks showing all 10 in the window.

Maybe this is just a consequence of having less tracks than selected on the Zoom shortcut key?

Wouldn't that be because you only have one track, regardless of the number of channels...what if you unlink the channels?

I'm not sure, but I could try and see.

I would expect that if the 5.1 track is 1 track, that pressing 2, 4, 8 or more would reduce the size to accommodate an equivalent number of tracks. It's no big deal, just an observation.

Convert the 5.1 Track to a Link Group and the Zoom Tracks presets will adjust based on preset selection.
