Fairlight Crossfade shortcut

PostThu Jul 22, 2021 9:26 pm

On the edit page, I can get a quick crossfade between audio clips by clicking an edit point and then going shift+t to get a crossfade (technically it's a transition but it does the trick). This shortcut doesn't carry over to the Fairlight page though. Does anybody know how to quickly do a crossfade in Fairlight? I would like to minimize having to go back and forth between the edit page and Fairlight.

In the Fairlight page Crossfades are handled differently. Have a look at page 3237 in the Manual.
You are right, a Crossfade is a transition. It is the audio equivalent of a Dissolve. The term Crossfade comes from the audio industry, Dissolve from the film industry

Fairlight Menu > Batch Fade Settings

Suggest adding custom keybindings to the Batch Fade functions as none are assigned by default.
