failure to set i/o device

I'm getting a "failed to set the videomode on the video I/O device, and normal playback is double normal speed.

Is there another program running that's using your BMD device?

check that your timeline framerate and size matches the monitoring output framerate and size.

I've had the odd playback speed when 1080 Timeline was 25 and the monitoring was accidentally set to 2k 24.

Hi sir, did you manage to solve this ? I can not run my project, Its a moveie, full length, that I worked on, over a year !!! dont tell me its some DB-error, and that my project is corrupted !?!

i move projects between Dci4kScope@ 24, UHD @23 and HD @23
i often get that error when i open a project last run on a 4k screen, on a machine with HD only output card for example
answer is to change timeline monitoring to match the machine capabilities
the timeline monitoring is asking for settings the outpuut card cannot provide
easy to change monitoring settings to match monitoring chain, and leave timeline at it's orignal raster
