Arthur, that flash you see is a quick view of the desktop, which is there behind the Resolve screen, when the screen switches between Full Screen Window or back. I see this but normally I have it permanently set to Full Screen. Possibly it's related to system speed.
All it does is remove the top Windows or Mac bar if Resolve is already occupying the whole screen. Or are you expecting to see something else?
