Save settings?

Why is my choice not being saved? I turn on one viewer, close the program, and when I open there again two viewers. It pisses me off. It was in version 16, and still is.

What you can do is to save the Workspace and then recall that preset. Your choices apply to the Edit page, the Color page, and I think to Fusion and Fairlight as well. I have a couple of different setups I use on the Edit page, and I agree there are times that omitting the Preview screen is necessary.

So what needs to be done? It's a shame that such a program has such problems.

Yes, but it doesn't work for the Fusion tab.

DaVinci 2022 is approaching, when will your Fusion finally remember the location of the windows after the program closes? Shame.

Ah, that's something I have not yet tried. I would put that up over on the Suggestions page on this forum and ask the developers to consider saving the settings for Fusion as well. There are a few discrepancies between Resolve Color, Editing/Cut Page, Fairlight, and Fusion, but I think they're fixing them as fast as they can. Programming just one part of these programs would be a huge job for any staff.

I just wonder why such trivial things in Davinci just don't work properly.
It's a professional program. And what's so professional about it, when it just doesn't save the position of windows and other settings.
My acquaintance's students at school have created a program for editing and even they don't have the problem that is present in Davinci.
