Resolve Studio 17.3 Missing Input Colorspace

Just updated to Resolve 17.3 yesterday and it seems the "Input Colorspace" contextual (right click on clip) menu choice is now missing. Did it get moved?

Update: Seems to work on Apple Silicone System
Opened the same project in version 17.2.2 and the menu item is there- see two screen shots from the same clip, same project both on Intel systems.
P.S. When comparing the two screenshots side by side, looks like Usage is missing too.

I can't find it either. Hope someone can tell us where its gone or I am going back.

If I open an old project it is there in the media page. So looks like it has been left out ?

You're sure you have RCM or ACEs set in the project preferences? That option won't appear otherwise. Upgrades have been known to alter project preferences.

If I remember correctly, 'Usage' only appears in the context menu if the clip is used in the currently active timeline.

So I uninstalled and installed again and now it is there. Create new project, color managed, Davinci YRGB, Davinci Wide Gamut. Bring a GH5 Vlog into media page , right click and it is there now to select VLog. Wonder why it was not there before. Whatever it is there now.

Because I am so new to DaVinci Resolve (and video editing & grading in general), I thought it was me being stupid. I just upgraded to 17.3 a couple weeks ago after I finished the Color Grading book/course where I definitely did adjust Input Colorspace. Can't find it anywhere in my menus now on 17.3. I'll try an uninstall and reinstall to see if that fixes it. Just adding my voice to this. It's missing in my 17.3 too

Guess it's back to 17.2 for me. Just did several uninstalls and reinstalls (reading this thread carefully and checking for RCM or ACEs set in Project Preferences....RCM was set) and still no Input Colorspace in 17.3 --

Uninstalling 17.3 and stepping back into 17.2, it's there.

For what it's worth I'm on an Apple Intel...

This seems to be something that became corrupt in a specific project. The same project on 17.2 has the menu item but on a different system running 17.3 the menu item is missing. I also cannot switch between Managed and Un-Managed and get the item back. Other projects are OK through. Really weird.

So other projects for you have the Input Colorspace on 17.3? I'll have to double-check but am pretty sure mine was global across multiple projects as I loaded and looked....

Is anyone else having this issue too? Any word from BMD on this? Currently waiting it out on 17.2 for now

Correct, other older and new projects are fine. There only seems to be one that has this issue.

I'm having this issue as well. An uninstall/reinstall didn't help me, and it appears I'm missing the option on previous projects.

I SUSPECT it's a setting somewhere that got moved/changed, but I can't for the life of me find it.

Quick follow-up as I'm troubleshooting... I have a project that's all RED footage with a couple clips of ProRes stock footage. The "Input Color Space" contextual menu is available on the ProRes footage, but NOT on the RED footage.

Maybe in 17.3 if Resolve has the proper metadata to select the input color space, it just does it? And it won't allow you to screw it up by selecting the improper color space?

If so, that makes a lot of sense - but the manual still says you can change the input color space through the contextual menu. Perhaps tech writers haven't caught up to the coders?

So it seems that Black Magic made a change with 17.3 with the color management system. They now disable the Input Color Space on all RAW clips (found in the new manual). However, I believe they may have broken the system when they did this. In the past in order to change the Color Space and Gamma in the Camera Raw setting tab I would force the clips to Bypass using the Input Color Space drop-down. Now for this to work I have to put the entire project in Bypass.

I'm getting out of trouble just now on this topic, thanks to you all for explanations.
If you want a clip not to get managed by Resolve you can just right click > Color Management Bypass
I'll continue using CST and GM when I'll finish DR17 Colorist Book i guess.
