OFX plugin isn't loaded in Color Page

PostFri Sep 24, 2021 8:05 am

Hello there!

I have installed the latest version of 3DLutCreator OFX Plugin in Davinci Resolve 17.3.1 (bulid 5) following the instructions, on a MacMini M1 2020 w/macOS 11.5.2 and in DR Preferences>Video Plugins is loaded successfully. But is not loaded though in the OFX List in Color Page. I used it in previous versions on other machines (MacPro2012 w/macOS 10.14.6). Am I missing something?

Thank you in advance

Are you sure that plugin supports M1 Macs? Looks to me like it's still Intel only.

I guess that it might load under Rosetta, but then you'd need to load the whole of Resolve in Rosetta mode I think? I'm guessing as I don't have an M1 Mac. But I downloaded the 3DLut Creator OFX and it's definitely not including an M1 native version.

(That said, it is still slightly confusing that you see it load successfully in the OFX list. But I don't know enough about how OFXs work to know if that would still be expected with an Intel plugin on ARM Mac.)

thank you for you response. This seems quite possible. I'll contact the 3DLut Creator Support and I'll get back!
