Yes, they all intersect.
But yes, chopping it of in even bits with Photoshop and sync up the scrolling movement is something I have in mind as a last resort. But it adds even more complexity over simply rendering out the scrolling animation with Kdenlive for example (which already isn't really optimal).
Someone above mentioned a workaround for said limitation and I'd be interested in that to simplify the whole process.

At the given timestamp (9 s) it starts scrolling through that really large canvas (1920x60000).
Don't get me wrong, I'd happily take advice on how to streamline this process since I'm rather new to DaVinci anyway. Ideally I could just import the image, zoom in to fill the screen, add two keyframes for the Y-position and call it a day. Right now i'm doing said workaround to prerender the whole ordeal in Kdenlive.
