The option for "HDR mastering is for * nits" in Project Settings -> Color Management is no longer present for DaVinci YRGB color science (non color managed). It is available for DaVinci YRGB Color Managed, but I don't use a color managed workflow.
I wonder if this removal was intentional or not. It was present on every version up to 17.4.2 and the manual still shows it (page 208, although I think this is in reference to the color managed mode). My normal HDR workflow is to use Rec.2100 ST2084 and the option to specify max nits was always present. I know that Resolve has been offering preset Timeline color spaces of Rec.2020 ST 2084 with declared nit options of 1000, 2000, and 4000. However, it's not clear how those settings affect grading so I choose to not use them.
It would be nice to just have the "HDR mastering is for" option back.
