a photo from a video with davinci resolve

Hi all very new, i wanted to know, i have done a video with my drone, and like to take a grab a few still from it, but it very poor quality; is there a siting that i must do to get a good photo print?

When you grab a still in the Color page and then export it from the Gallery, it will be same resolution as the timeline you grabbed it from. To increase resolution, increase the resolution of the timeline.

Hi Captain Red, thx for the quick reply, i have done this but the photo still not look good.
is it best to reset everything and start again or what?

You'll still be limited to the original resolution of the video. You might try exporting at a higher resolution. In DR Studio the upscaling is supposed to be pretty good. But at some point you're always limited to the quality of the capture. And video is usually much lower resolution that digital photos.

Grab from video and later use some ai solution to upscale like topaz gigapixel Which work rather well on face.
