Cant render from Davinci

I am having major issues trying to render out of Davinci 17.4.3.

Apart from constantly having missing media, even tho it plays perfectly in the timeline. Deleted cache, rebuild cache, turned cache off. Couldn't find a reliable fix for this. Restarting Davinci helps, but dosn't fix the problem, Render once and all is fine, try again and missing media again.

I can get around that problem, but the main issue I am having is there is one clip or section on the timeline it wont render no matter what I do.

Its an mp4 from AdobeStock. Plays fine in the timeline but when rendering it always comes up with a message "The fusion composition on the current frame or clip could not be processed successfully"

I tired re encoding the clip in AE but still gives the same error when rendering, Tried replacing the clip with a text clip, still errors out, and even just left that section blank ,as in deleted the clip and it still pops up with an error.

Trying it again while typing this, it pops up the error now but the timeline indicator is on a section of the timeline it just rendered.

Tried a new timeline buy copying the clips over, still errors out.

It has taken over an hour and half to get this thing rendered and the only way I could do it was to create clips for the sections it would render and then rebuild the edit in premiere.

I also tried it on my laptop and same issues.
I have attached Resolve logs, but couldn't attache the NFO.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You normally can't attach such files here, you'll need to upload them to a cloud service and post the link here (with a space somewhere in the name if you're a newcomer).
And then, what happens if you avoid Fusion completely?

Thanks for that, I will add a dropbox link here.

As for fusion in Davinci, That is normally what causes the missing media issue even with caching turned off. But the clip it was failing on was just a video clip, no fusion comp.

I managed to find a solution to the clip not rendering, Under sys preferances/ User, tick off Stop render when a frame or clip cannot be processed.

That let me render out the edit, but doesn't fix the media missing issues, I hope BM get onto this as its quite a frustrating issue, and its been around for awhile now.

Can you put that offending clip on a cloud service?

Not sure if I can share it? Its an adobe stock clip the client supplied.

I did start a new timeline (project) in davinci and just added that clip and it rendered out fine.
And as I said in the first post, I converted it to other formats with no luck, even just adding a text clip at the same time in the timeline (Replacing the original clip) cause the same issues.

I am thinking the edit I am having issues with has some kind of corruption. I copied the timeline and placed it into a new timeline but same issues.

Sure, better don't if it's a paid clip.
When you said you converted to another format, which codec was it?

Hi,

Tired Apple ProRes 422 and GoPro CineForm from After effects.

I create 3D medical animations and normally render them out of after effects as GoPro, never given an issue before.

But Like I said the clip worked in a new projects timeline so must be a glitch with project I am working on.

I'd suppose so. I never had problems with Cineform.
