This image illustrates a simple 3-D letter sample “Test Text”. Notice that the opacity in the Inspector under shading is set to 0 but the image is bright. Apparently, in this node-combination the adjustable opacity is happening elsewhere.

Equally interesting, “Test Text” doesn’t present at all until it very dimly shows at frame 56 and between frame 56 and frame 61 transitions to full brightness as shown in Frame 63 here.
Actually, I want that transition from dim to bright to occur but just a bit later (in frame 200) but, since I have no idea what’s controlling the opacity of the text now, I can’t adjust it.
Anybody have any idea where you can adjust the opacity over time of 3-D text in this node arrangement (it’s apparently not in the inspector for the text node as shown above)?
Surely there is somewhere I can control the opacity of the Text3D1_1 node but where?
