Davinchi Resolve 17.4 crushes every time i try to open it up

Good evening.
Yersterday I was exporting a video and davinchi resolve crushed. After that point I cant access it. Every time I open it up, it just shows the loading icon next to my cursor and then it stops opening. I have tried a lot of things to make it work, including downloading it again, but it does not open. Any help would be much appreciated because I need to edit for my job.

Assuming Windows:

In a File Explorer window, go to:

C:\Program Files\Blackmagic Design\DaVinci Resolve

and run CaptureLogs

This will place a Resolve log file named similar to this on your Windows desktop: DaVinci-Resolve-logs-20181228_140434.zip (You may not see the .zip extension if your system is set to hide known extensions).

Then open Windows System Information and do a File - Save (Not a File Export), which will generate a .NFO file.

Place both those files on a file sharing site and provide links to the files here.

Your config files have become corrupt somehow, which is preventing Resolve from starting.

We'll remove the files, then Resolve should work again.

Open File Explorer Options, and on the View tab, enable "Show hidden files, folders and drives".

Also unselect "Hide extensions for known file types".

Then in File Explorer, navigate to this folder:

C:\Users\ilias\AppData\Roaming\Blackmagic Design\DaVinci Resolve\Preferences

Delete the config.dat and .config.data files.

Now Resolve should startup properly.

If you had made any changes in the Resolve Preferences area, those will be reset to default settings, and you'll need to make the changes again.
