How to break apart a compound clip

PostFri May 20, 2022 9:22 pm

Hi,
I searched You Tube on Davinci looking for a way to break apart a compound clip. Over and over Davinci said to right click on compound clip and select Decompose. Well when I right clicked and the pop up menu showed up there was no such word as Decompose on it.

Can you tell me how I can break apart a compound clip for Davinci 17?

Thank you and have a great weekend.

If it didn't have decompose as an option, are you sure it is a compound clip?

I had like fifteen clips and changed it to compound and then it said I only had one clip on the timeline. So I thought that meant it was a compound. Plus I couldn't change anything later with that one clip.
