Mac Studio + Monterey + M1MAX = crashing every 5 mins

Hey team

Just got a fresh Mac Studio yesterday. Downloaded DR17Studio from the BM site. Used my Studio key from a BM camera purchase, all good, I get DR up and running no problem.

Only problem is that DR now crashes *every* 5 minutes. And I won't be doing anything. It will just be open in the background as I'm writing an email for example, and it just disappears. Yesterday it was disappearing and I was getting a dialog box from DR saying "DR quit unexpectedly" Today, it's just disappearing, no dialog box.

I just replaced my 2013 trashcan Mac with this new machine and please don't let this be happening! Deadlines looming and I can't be faced with crashing DR.

Anyone else experiencing this out there?

U can see FAQs, post logs, but it sounds like hardware

m1 ultra here since 2 weeks, more spinning beachball moments than ever, not really crashing so far, a few though. but overall not particularly a better experience with resolve.

To the OP - if you have any plugins installed, particularly any which are not Apple Silicon native, I would suggest you might try temporarily removing those to see if the problem persists.
