DaVinci Resolve 18 Beta stabilization

PostSun Jun 26, 2022 1:29 pm

I updated DR to 18 Beta and updated the firmware in my BMPCC4K to activate the gyro stabilization. This works really well in most cases; hand held slow movements left right up down but not so well for walking around. Definitely still need a stabilizer for walking in my case. Using the DR Stabilization Gyro still seems to leave lots of juddering with walking so in DR 18 I tried to apply perspective Stabilization on top of Gyro stabilization. This causes DR to crash. But my question is can you layer stabilization (assuming this bug is fixed), ie can you apply gyro stabilization then apply say perspective stabilization on top of the gyro stabilization? I tried making a compound clip after the gyro S. but I don't think that achieved anything.

Oh sorry, thanks Jim. I see someone else has reported the same bug.
