V18B4 hangs on startup - Intel iMac Monterey V12.4

Hi all, Basically as per the subject. I can't get Resolve to boot since the June release.

Anyone got any suggestions?

Navigate to the macOS Applications folder > Utilities > Audio MIDI Setup

Which devices are available in Audio MIDI Setup?

Is TeamViewer or an HDMI device set as the active audio device?

In the audio device list right click a different device and enable "Use This Device For Sound Output" for that device.

Is Resolve still hanging at launch? With which enabled devices is Resolve hanging?

Hey thanks Reynaud,

It seems I cannot open either the Audio Midi utility or the Sound preferences. I have gone to the Apple forum on this and the suggestion is to restart in recovery mode and reinstall. I will try this first.
