Make a checklist like a pilot ;-)

Seriously, you need to make sure you care for the right settings. While you can make a preset for output, the export or burn-in function for subtitles unfortunately will not stick.
No, an iGPU is not enough, and you can't use HEVC 10 bit 4:2:2 in the free version.

Interestingly Uli, I don't think I've experienced that issue. Like most of us, I assume, I have Delivery Page export presets for the texted and textless deliverables that I need to routinely generate. My texted preset has the Export Subtitle checkbox checked, with Format > Burn into video selected... works every time without issue. This is on my main workstation, Windows 10, currently running 17.4.3.

Preset works, but he wrote he's even forgetting to use the preset.
I wanted to suggest an empty project to use every time, but even with a subtitle track in it the checkbox doesn't stick when that's opened again.

Wish I could do that too

I forget too many times

I work in a industry of quick videos, so I can't go into a pilot checklist, sometimes you got to finish and render in a sequence fast enough to launch

Would be a great feature if we can set that auto
