I'm new to resolve. I have clips from an interview where the audio was recorded with the mic level too high and overmodulated. There is fuzz and crackling with it. I need to clean it up as well as possible. Is there a useful tutorial or steps I could follow for the correct way to fix bad audio?

Greetings--did you get an answer or solve the problem of your overmodulated sound recordings? I ask as I'm having the same problem (Resolve 18) and can't find an answer, so I'd be grateful to know. Thanks.
Many thanks for the helpful answers and those links to the needed software (those locomotives!--I still remember waving to the engine driver when we stepped off the bright blue Slieve Gullion that took my mother and me to our Northern relatives).
