After updating macOS, cannot open any projects

PostThu Aug 18, 2022 5:28 am

Apple M1 16GB - I updated macOS from early Monterey 12.0 in one jump to the latest 12.5.1

Now, after the update, when I run Davinci, it gets to the opening Project Manager which displays all the projects - but when I click on a project (or even use the OPEN tab), none of the projects can open.

Also Davinci does not shut down.

So I force-quit Davinci, uninstalled Davinci 17.4.6 using its software Uninstaller. Then re-installed 17.4.6. The problem remains.

I have a backup of the database.

Incidentally, after the above macOS update, all other software/programs I've tried work ok - except Davinci.

I do not experience any such issues on two different machines.

With computer software, it is very common for only a certain number of people to experience a specific type of glitch, given the variety of configurations out there :D

Any suggestions what I should do here?

We'd start with the standard suggestion of sending us a Resolve diagnostic log.
