Can you give 18.0.4 a try?

As I mentioned above a quick test looked hopeful.

I have now done some more thorough testing.

It is working for all resolutions my computer can handle (explained below).

I tested all resolutions from the Color page on the Better setting and it works well.

I did a few quick tests of the Levels, Isolation and Postprocessing and all seem to work well.

I also did quick tests from the Edit and Fusion pages and it worked fine there.

I closed and reopened Resolve and tested again. It works fine.

What I mean by all the resolutions my computer can handle:
I get an out of GPU memory error on the 8k resolutions (and 1 crash). But even after the memory error, choosing a different resolution and toggling the Preview check box results in positive results.

I feel this issue is resolved unless someone else sees something different or if over time the results change.

Thank you for taking care of this.

Wonderful news! Why don't the release notes for 18.0.4 mention this, I wonder?

Me too. I was initially discouraged to see that there were no meaningful fixes.

Hi.
I updated to version 18.0.4 and also checked - I confirm that I no longer have a problem with the depth map in different project resolutions.
I tried restarting the program, creating new projects, again and again - the problem went away.
If BMD did it (and I didn't see it in the release notes) - Bravo guys.
Thanks to everyone who did not back down and brought the topic to a "Solved".
Good luck
