Glitch 18.1.1 edit page source viewer

for some reason now in the source viewer in edit page when using up and down arrows it jumps back to media pool rather then going to beginning of clip in the source viewer?

is there a new toggle im missing this is not what it used to be i dont recall

That appears to be a new (intentional) behavior. Use Home and End keys to jump to beginning and end, respectively (if on a Mac, use the globe key (?) and right/left arrows).

from my perspective thats a terrible idea. it works in the timeline why map new keyboard shortcuts for source viewer now. do you happen to know a way to change it back in the keyboard shortcuts? or is there a toggle or something.

next they may change marker in source viewer to & symbol for fun. when accessing media pool with keyboard you just go cmd 2 and your there in media pool now and use arrow keys to browse without mouse. it worked.

Unless there is a huge request for this I would greatly desire they revert that function back, or make it known in keyboard customization

I'm not fond of it either, however, some users find it to be quite useful. I suppose it is if you use the source viewer to mark in/out then keyboard shortcut to insert into timeline followed by a move to the next clip in the media pool, rinse and repeat. Interesting how these sorts of changes work their way into the product, isn't it?

well any benefit is still flawed in my eyes. i use cmd 1, 2, 3 to move through bins and media pool and then in out insert, never leaving the keyboard. i think those users who like the change might not have known the way. im guessing they changed this for the speed editor integration but thats just a guess... and they shouldnt have if thats the case. ill see if i can switch it back in keyboard shortcuts later.
