I'm aware that I can get rid of the grey bar created by setting in/out points on the timeline by pressing Cmd+X. The thing is, I have to first scroll to the right of my project clips and press "I", then CMd+X to get rid of it. If I don't do this and I press Cmd+X while the I/O bar is over my clips, they get deleted (cut presumably).
Thinking that perhaps the grey bar acts as a selector, I thought that perhaps Cmd+D for deselect might get rid of it, but that doesn't work. How do I get rid of the I/O bar without having to recreate it over a blank part of the timeline before using Cmd+X to get rid of it?
Thanks!
