How to delete I/O Bar?

PostFri Dec 02, 2022 7:29 pm

I'm aware that I can get rid of the grey bar created by setting in/out points on the timeline by pressing Cmd+X. The thing is, I have to first scroll to the right of my project clips and press "I", then CMd+X to get rid of it. If I don't do this and I press Cmd+X while the I/O bar is over my clips, they get deleted (cut presumably).

Thinking that perhaps the grey bar acts as a selector, I thought that perhaps Cmd+D for deselect might get rid of it, but that doesn't work. How do I get rid of the I/O bar without having to recreate it over a blank part of the timeline before using Cmd+X to get rid of it?

Thanks!

You can see the shortcut in the Mark menu or in the Keyboard Customization page. It's called "Clear In and Out" and the shortcut is Option/Alt+X.
