Select multiple clip edges / transitions

PostMon Dec 05, 2022 9:10 am

What I'm trying to do:
Add a "dip to color" transition to the end of all clips

Is there a way to either :
- Mass-add transitions to only one edge of a clip
- Select only left-edge transitions (after mass-adding to all edit points)
- Select only the right edge of all clips? (Control clicking is too slow...and risky, since one misclick will unselect everything)

You can select multiple edit points:
In trim edit mode by dragging a selection rectangle
In normal edit mode by holding alt+shift and dragging a selection rectangle.

You can switch the side of the selected edit points by pressing the U key.

To select multiple transitions (Resolve 18.1 or newer is needed):
Select one transition, hold the shift key and click on some other transition (make sure you are not clicking the edges of the transition or the edit point), all the in-between transitions will be selected.

Excellent, both those tips work perfectly, thanks!
