Resolve 12bit option

PostTue Feb 23, 2016 5:45 am

Now that Davinci Resolve has 12 bit option for working as well as rendering out in DPX, should we be going the 12 bit way for better colour, or stick to 10 bit as we had done in the past?

Thank you. I had this doubt myself. So I'll stick to 10 bits too!

This was 6 years ago, if your box can do 12bit, it is a preferred option at this point.

Our only issue with 12-bit is that not many monitors support it let alone can display it.
