Audio Sync on Media Pool and Metadata Disappear

I have been having the frequent problem that I really need to solve. In a project I put metadata and made audio synchronization by media pool. But sometimes when I open the project all the audio in the timeline that was synchronized in the media pool is empty.

The audio simply disappears and I have no audio signal.

If you load the audio file from the bin into the Source Viewer, does it work?

No, because if I pull the clip back to the timeline that has the embedded audio it appears like that with nothing. And the metadata of the clips also disappears. It seems that it doesn't save the information of the media pool

As far as metadata goes - you may be running into a rather hidden feature in Resolve - when syncing dual-system audio, it assumes that the metadata you want is that logged by the sound recordist. It takes whatever is in the audio metadata and copies it over what's in the video metadata.

Drag the .wav file from the bin to the Source Viewer. Report on that.

When I import to the viewer I get the audio signal. The problem is the metadata registration in the media. I lose the link from the wav. to the video file.

The keywords you put in each clip also disappear.

If I close the project everything stays the same. But if I close the project and only pick it up the next day and leave the machine off for several hours, when I open the project it no longer has that metadata.

Is it database information or at project level? Could it have to do with permissions or temporary files in Mac Studio?

To restore and not lose the project I always have to go to the backup of the previous day.

I'm going to se aside the metadata issue for now. (In fact, it's better to keep threads on a single subject, so maybe start a new thread for that issue.)

What happens if you hit Match Frame on the timeline clip, loading that into the Source Viewer? Does any audio play?

We have a video that has audio recorded directly from the camera. And then I synced it to the external recorded audio in media pool. (Auto Audio Sync, based on waveform and append tracks).

When I match the audio frame to the wav, it is redirected to the video I synced (in the media pool). But the audio that appears in the source is the camera audio.

Giving as an example a correct project and a defective project is that the Csv. file in the media pool has different characteristics.

Correct Project:
the csv. file contains all the metadata from the camera and the audio that was synced

Defective project: no metadata and no synchronized audio

The audio and metadata problem are related. It is not an audio problem but a problem of the csv file that did not save the record.

Our environment is a postgre sql database where we open the project on different machines. I am not sure, but I think it might be related to this.
