Realtime view

PostThu Feb 02, 2023 7:01 pm

Where is realtime view? After an update from 18.0 to 18.1 my changes don't reflect in the editor viewer, just trying to edit an image zooming and cropping and nothing happens in editor. When I switch to Deliver I can see the changes there but not in editor. Thank you!

Try posting a screenshot of what you are talking about.

The video is basically a slide show of images with music cut under it, the last image I just inserted needs to be zoomed it to cover the entire screen. Before the update I could just adjust the Zoom values under inspector and I could see the change in realtime on the viewer, now nothing happens. I also tried other features such as cropping and nothing shows on the screen. I'm sure it's just a click to enable it somewhere but can't find it.

Thank you!

Can you place the playhead in the middle of the last image you added to the Timeline, then select the clip on the Timeline and in the Inspector change the zoom to 1.5 and post a screenshot?

Here it is, Zoom up to 1.5, no change on the screen, but notice if I switch to Delivery the change shows there. I think it's just a feature needs to turn on so the editor view also shows the change. Thank you!

Set your Viewer on Edit to Fit, instead of 43%.

It is on Fit, 43 is the max size for fit.

I really think my viewer shows original image sizes because I see other images also show incorrectly without zoom. I think it's the viewer that need to be changed to show the edited images ... I keep searching.

Here is another example from the same video, the viewer in the editor shows original image size even on the right side both Zoom values are set to 1.38 and Position X=60.000 . But again if I switch to Delivery it shows the correct look. So again it works but the viewer in the editor will not show it. I went through every setting I could think of but just won't work. I've been using Resolve for a couple of years, this is a first time this is occurring...

Something is happening, I switched to dual view mode and it allows me to zoom in on the image on the right side. I guess I'll just have to keep it here for now, this will work. Thank you!
