Hi all,
My box is not the latest/fastes model, so when I create some more sophisticated clips I PreRender them (Render in place). To preserve quality I've set the output format to AVI.
These "intermediate clips" use the Cineform codec:
But it seems that the latest DR Version (18.1.4 Build 9) has massive problems with the clips it creates. When I render the whole Video, DR crashes ! The GUI quits and the output file is not processed any further although some DR code is still running and needs to be killed via Task Manager.
The Log shows:
Problem is that this does not alway happen. At least 50% of the prerendered clips work fine.
As a workaround (?) you may "Decompose to original"
