Beginners Guide

PostMon Mar 27, 2023 2:07 am

I'm on p21
Want to do it all right.

Direction is to 'Select the new empty TIMELINES bin and choose File > New Timeline'
'New Timeline' is grey. Ergo, cannot create 'New Timeline'
I've gone thought hid step a couple times.
Please advise!
Been using Macs for 30 years.
Hmmm...

The Blackmagic guides excellent and detailed though they are, can be a little dense at first if you are starting from zero. You may get up and running easier and quicker by watching some of the introduction for beginners Youtube videos from the likes of:

Are you on the Edit page in Resolve when you try to create 'New Timeline'?

BMD's own training tutorials are also excellent. They are found beside the written guides Walter mentioned.

Thanks guys, for responding.
I found that a Control Click helped me along.
I am using 'The Beginners Guide', and am working through their video files.

Another issue, reopening this morning is that sound is muted.

Suggestions?

Sound issue solved.
Found an audio volume slider above the mixer.
