Power window bug (showing wrong areas_

PostThu Jun 01, 2023 8:30 am

Ever since starting Resolve years ago I get this annoying bug with power windows

Usually when editing with vertical video

Does anyone know why it happens or what I can do to stop it happening? I've never been able to figure it out

Hi! Could you share your project settings, timeline settings and footage resolution?

Also what version of Resolve are you running?

Are you seeing this on a regular Clip node, or is it at a secondary level eg a Post Clip or Timeline node?

Do you change anything about the timeline settings after adding the power windows?
MBP2021 M1 Max 64GB, macOS 14.4, Resolve Studio 18.6.6 build 7

Yep, that's the problem... its an order of operations thing. I'm afraid Resolve has been screwy with this since forever.
