I am just curious, when you work in Davinci on an MacBook, the white notebooks from Apple. can you hear the fan? Working hard: strong / a bit / never Not working hard: strong / a bit / never
The only time I hear it on my Macbook M2 Max with Resolve is during a long render, but even then it's very quiet and not infuriatingly loud like my previous Windows laptops.
On my 2020 i7 MBP - I only recall hearing it when it's really stressed and I don't recall ever hearing it during editing / colour grading. If you do stress it though the fans are quite audible.
When I was using my 2020 M1 MacBook Pro for daily post work it was silent except during renders. Other than that, its got to be nearly 15 years since I last saw Apple producing a white notebook... I'm guessing you're not planning on trying to run modern Resolve on one of those! ;)

I guess you're not trying to do anything related with Resolve on this 2003 computer sold with default 10.6 Snow Leopard

Thank you for all these feedbacks !! I have Windows and Ubuntu, but I am thinking about to switch to MacBook. I just wanted kidding around, because MacBooks are always in this color "almost white"..
