Hey everyone,
We've stumbled upon an unusual bug concerning audio relinking when interchanging AAFs from Avid to Resolve. It appears that the audio isn't relinking correctly. Only channel 1 is relinking successfully and is audible and visible in the Resolve Sequence/Timeline. However, the rest of the clips show up in the timeline as blank, even though I can confirm that the source footage in the project does contain audio for those tracks.
When we utilize an EDL, we don't encounter this issue. However, we prefer using AAF because it translates a lot more sequence and clip details than a generic .EDL file, providing a richer and more informative conform for the target FINISHER and/or COLORIST.
To reiterate, this problem persists in both Resolve versions 18.5 and 18.6. Any insights or solutions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
