18.6 Cloud Projects Stuck at 33% - won't open

I have been exploring the phone app with the cloud storage on 18.6 with 4 different machines connected to the same cloud library.

After opening, closing a couple times something happens to the project and it gets stuck - they just won't open. They get stuck around 33% on the opening progress bar and I have to crash close them.

They also can't be exported or opened in read only.

Any ideas here?

Since its a cloud library I can't optimize it.

Is there any support on these cloud projects with the camera cloud turned on with collaboration?

It is repeatable, but the projects seem to be toast. I read somewhere that external storage may not supported for the sync location. Is that the case? I was using external SSDs on all the client machines.

Might be the case. How were the external SSDs formatted?

mine is stuck at 25% says "Closing Project Library"

External drives are all HFS+ mac.

The fix that I've learned to get access again is to open them on an 18.5.1 machine. Then you can open them, disable collaboration if needed, and or delete them.
