Not able to use emojis in Text+ in Davinci Resolve?

Wanted to ask if anybody knows how to type emojis into a Text+ title in DR? I know you can in the regular Text title, but not in Text+? When I do it, I'm just getting a little box where the emoji should be

Add it as an image file instead maybe?

Did you ever figure it out? I also get the little box where it should be. I prefer the styling options of Text+ and was hoping it would be useful for adding emojis into easily.

You can certainly use emoji's in Text+ titles, but only if you use a font that describes them... Text+ can only render glyphs that are explicitly described by the selected font.
Maybe consider using a font like Noto Color Emoji.
