Why Blackmagic Forum does not display YouTube links?

I noticed lately that if I put a YouTube link in my posts, the link fails to display correctly:

And if I click on the link, I get this error:

I can see that other's posts don't have this problem! Here is one example:

Your link is malformed, but I don’t know why. I removed the last part of your link as you can see and now it works (see your other thread).

Well, I just copy the link and paste it without changing anything. Before used to work fine for me but not anymore!

I just noticed a lock icon next to the link address which I did not notice before:

And which part of the link did you remove?

You can get a shareable link to the video by clicking "share" button below the video.

I just tried that and same problem! Could it be the problem related to my account in the forum? Because it used to work before!

Generally anything after "&" in a youtube link is not needed.
All youtube links are formatted as

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RANDOM_TEXT_HERE

Look again at my post - I just edited your link and removed the &ab_channel=CaseyFaris portion of the link. Not sure why that portion causes issues, though.

I tried deleting everything after "&" and same problem .. but when I also deleted the "&" then it worked. Many thanks for the tip, Mads.

Look again at my post - I just edited your link and removed the &ab_channel=CaseyFaris portion of the link. Not sure why that portion causes issues, though.

Removing the &ab_channel=CaseyFaris portion did not solve the problem becouse your link is entirely different, not just the deleted portion .

I don't get any extra text in the URL for a YT video so it works in a post immediately. I'm using Chrome as my browser.
As an example:

Yes, it's one of mine.

As a further bit of info, all I do is highlight the video address (arrowed) and copy with Ctrl+C........

Unfortunately, I can not read the screenshot as th texts are too small to read! I don't understand why the forum does not support higher resolution screenshots!

Anyway, what I do is copy the link address just like what you do and paste it in the post but I get that problem whether I use the URL or not! But after removing the "&" with everything follows it, then it works.

Here is a screenshot that shows the link as it appears in Chrome and notice how long it is comparing to what showing in your screenshot

Why? I have no idea!! But same thing with Firefox and Edge!

Possibly a difference between the standard YT I am using, and the Premium YT you are using. Otherwise I can't think why it is different.

I signed out of YT Premium and still same problem!
