Good call Daniel but sadly no cigar! Choked it to 10 (FPS ?) which is way under the normal speed but no change in the corruption. It is also the same story for either highest or lowest quality settings.
It is very difficult with h264 to analyse exactly what is happening, but it appears to me that the I frames are OK but the dependent interim compressed P & B frames are bad.
It seems to me fundamental that the system works fine for NVidia h264 encoding with Handbrake but not for Resolve. Sadly why that should be is way over my capabilities but I guess it is pertinent that nobody else appears to be reporting a similar issue. Maybe I just have a hardware issue.
