I am not sure that would work because you can only give it a directory not a file. When I gave the directory it then reloaded all audio files in that directory and the in the sub directories as new entires. That caused my initial problem of having 1500 duplicate entries. I had to delve round in the maze of resolve files to delete the database file and reload again from an empty library.
Also there is only ONE library. So if I load multiple libraries they merge into one.
I have a large SFX library. It is in several subdirectories but Resolve loads it as one library with no subsections.
I also have a music library. If I load that all the files are intermixed with the SFX library. You can't select it and search it separately. Also if any one thing changes you have to delete the database file and reload the whole lot again.
