Fairlight Patch from Test Tones Settings

PostThu Oct 03, 2019 11:23 pm

The link to patching from the menu button on the Test Tones Settings pop up does not work. Selecting Patch from the Fairlight menu does work.

The long-ish work around I think is:

Select INPUT on the mixer channel,
Select INPUT on popup,
In SOURCE dropdown menu, select SYSTEM GENERATOR,
Then select the auto generated sound you're looking for.

In the case shown in the DR-15 training (Fairlight Intro, Part 2, time code 40:11) the shortcut shown brings you to the same point as the steps above.

Hope that helps!

Seems to be working fine here. Try using vers 16.2. Clicking on Patch Input/Output brings up the Patch I/O. Making selections and patching works. Make sure the track you are sending too has Record enabled to allow you to see the input.
