Crush in lights after setting Color Space for S-log3

PostMon Oct 21, 2019 11:59 pm

Hello everyone! Faced a problem:

the frame is shot on Sony a7 s ii, S-Gamut3.Cine/S-log3

I threw it in Resolve, then in Color Management set my Sony’s settings for Input Color Space, Rec 709 for Timeline and Output Color space

Then, when I start to edit the balance or exposure, at some point the image crushes in lights, for example sky becomes monotonous and i can’t fix it so i have to roll 2-3 actions back to return to normal colours and exposure. The same thing happens in mask tracker.

I’ll be very pleased for any help.

Where do you find Balance and Exposure controls?
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

OK.

Without knowing exactly what you did, it's difficult to reproduce.
