Great Midi Control of Resolve
For those who've been struggling to get a Midi Controller to work in Resolve, I've found the perfect solution.
I just bought a Novation LaunchControlXL II for my Windows 10 system. With Resolve v16.1, this is a plug and play device that serves two functions. In MIDI mode, I get complete control in the Fairlight page:volume sliders, pans, mutes, solo of each individual channel, up to 8 channels.
By using Bome's Midi Translator, I can also configure the LaunchControlXL to input keystrokes. I'm in the process of setting things up for the EDIT page. It has two rows of 8 buttons and 8 seperate channels, that's 128 function buttons that can be programmed to keystrokes/shortkeys.
I'm still learning Bome's. There is a way to program CC modes, so the rotary knobs or sliders can be programmed for continuous input. I still need to learn how to do this.
Setup for either MIDI mode or Keystroke mode is done the the Preferences Page of Davinci.
