Davinci Crashes

Hey there, recently (ish) made the switch to DaVinci from Adobe Premiere, and have been loving it !! Only problem is its current crashing issue on my computer.

Here are the facts -

It only crashes on the one project, not any of the others.
I am working with Blackmagic Raw Files in this particular project.
Once booted, I can make 2-3 edits before it crashes. I can playback some footage too if I choose to. It only crashes when I go to playback another file on the timeline - like it suddenly doesn't register the footage or something?
After I go click on another place in the timeline where another file is, it may show me the first frame, but then nothing. It wont play, no audio etc. However the software still responds for a bit - like I can save for a brief period before the crash, move to different points in the timeline (with no change to my preview screen at that point).

I have tried the following -

Revert to last graphics card update.
Reinstalling drivers.
Updating Resolve.
Duplicating project, exporting project to new file.

Help!!??

Please post a link to your log archive as well as more detail on hardware and drivers. See viewtopic.php?f=21&t=90190

You can try disabling GPU decoding for Blackmagic RAW from the Preferences dialog to see if that helps.

I built my PC - RTX 2060 Graphics card, AMD 2700X CPU, w 32 gigs ram. The OS is on a 500 gig SSD, and the footage is on a 4TB Hard Drive. Running Windows 10.

Running newest Nvidia driver 441.12.

DaVinci Version 16.1.1.005.

My logs are in here - https://drive.google.com/open?id=1GvtFE ... Ww-pJqBYl6

I want to say this worked. Any idea why this could be the issue?

The GPU option you suggested seems to have worked. However, I am confused why this would cause crashing suddenly on this project, when I've worked on it with no troubles until now. My logs are here - https://drive.google.com/folderview?id= ... 9yQlNpTcYF

Quite a few others have had the same problem as you as described in this thread:

If you want to try GPU decoding of BMRAW, step back to the same "Studio" driver that I have in my signature. Follow the link above for more details.

Backing up what Michael said. Disabling GPU for BRAW worked with 441.12 (latest Studio driver) but obviously isn't ideal. I rolled back to 431.86 and everything works fine again.

Note: I used Display Driver Uninstaller to uninstall 441.12: https://www.wagnardsoft.com/

Device Manager (in Windows machines) has an option to roll back your driver but mine was greyed out/I wasn't able to use it.

In my case, I got away with rolling back by just installing the 431.86 driver over the top of 441.12.
