I was rolling back to Studio Driver 431.86 - 436.48 is this a Game-Ready-Driver?
I hope that Nvidia can solve the problem soon and we will hear it here in the forum - I trust to the Michael_Andreas :)

Unfortunately, the topic was still not pinned.

Can confirm, on a GTX 1070 Ti with game-ready driver 441.41 this problem was SOLVED by disabling G-Sync in the NVIDIA control panel. After experiencing strange flickering and low fps in certain full-screen applications (incl. Resolve, Spotify and Ableton Live) I suspected a v-sync or g-sync issue. Disabling and enabling G-Sync depending on what I'm doing is a much easier workaround than installing / re-installing newer / older display drivers. Hope this helps anyone else who is using G-Sync! :D

Disregard my previous post. Turns out the G-Sync issue of GUI lag was entirely separate. Still crashing when trying to play BRAW on new drivers. I spoke too soon...

Just let you know, that I have the same issue with BRAW and the latest NVIDIA drivers.

If you go to the Media Page and import some BRAW files and try scrub through the thumbnail and then in the monitor, the frame freezes, then Resolve.

This issue occurs in all 16.x Resolve Studio versions (15 not tested).
Now I am trying NVIDIA driver version 431.86 (Studio). We'll see...

[UPDATE] Yes, reverting the driver to 431.86 did the trick. Now Resolve works fine again.

BM, please contact NVIDIA on this issue.

We notified NVIDIA when this issue first came up and supplied them information about the driver bug. They are aware.

Yup, just installed the 10-Dec-2019 441.66 Studio driver and gave my latest BRAW-only project a good hammering. No freezing up now.

I wonder if this driver has helped in other subtle ways too, because DR Studio 16.1.1 did not crash at all on me in a about an hour's use (using BRAW with fair amounts of de-noise, sharpening and de-flicker). This is in stark contrast to the previous "safe" 431.86 Nvidia studio driver which did not freeze on BRAW but still gave me all manner of weird crashes at depressingly regular intervals. Ctrl-S every minute is now my watchword these days, sadly.

Live Save is an outstanding feature, well worth turning on. With it, I have never lost any work in Resolve.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.
