Source tape markers invisible?

When I try to mark clips on the CUT page in SOURCE TAPE mode, the marker appears with the dialog box, which accepts text input.
Playing past that point shows no sign of the marker on the source clip or SOURCE TAPE timeline.
I return to the same point on the SOURCE TAPE timeline the marker dialog box does reappear.
Logic (at least mine) dictates the marker should stick to the source clip for future reference in the CUT or EDIT pages.
Is my thinking flawed or am I totally missing the point somewhere?

I think I asked for that the moment I saw the CUT page. A marker in the source viewer is not attached to a clip, therefore you cannot see it later...

It would at least be great to actually see those markers on the source tape "timeline".

And yes, they should stick to the actual clips in the media pool, it would be of great use.

My markers do not appear anywhere. Isn't this a bug that needs resolving?
