What is "Render as discrete audio tracks" in 16.1.2?

PostTue Dec 17, 2019 9:42 pm

I'm on pp. 3055-3056 in the manual, in the section for the Audio panel of the Deliver page, but I'm not seeing any explanation for the new checkbox, "Render as discrete audio tracks." What is this option, and how is it different from "Render one track per channel?"

It’s for certain audio delivery specs. Unless someone specified they want it then just ignore it. For an actual explanation I’d just google it, though I didn’t find that provided a clear answer.

There seems to be a bug though whereby it will only keep the setting if you add the job while on the audio tab, otherwise it will magically uncheck itself and render audio normally

Hi
I just tested it and it does what I allways was asking for. Check one track per channel and render discrete audio tracks and I got mono-wav files from my mix. :D :D :D

Best regards

Harald
