I really buy a BM6k because it came with resolve studio license.
And because i think it will be more profesional then adobe. (they say HOLLYWOODs most powerful tool)
And suddenly my license stop working, yesterday morning i open the davinci resolve studio, and ask my again for the key, i put it and a red text sees "contact support".
I lost 2 days trying to reinstall soft and put key again and nothing...
suddenly in my 8 try it works.
WHY!!!! I LOST 2 DAYS OF WORK,
IS THIS A PROFECIONAL SOFT OR NOT?
I contact support and nothing, i dont think its a hollywood tool. because if this happens in hollywood they would have demanded the company. because don't have a live support... SHAME ON YOU DAVINCI, I REALLY NEED TO KNOW IF THIS GOIN TO HAPPEN ANY TIME , because i cant trust my job in a software that suddenly stop working.

Hollywood professionals probably have special hotlines for an extra fee, while others may need to wait until Christmas is over.

But I can only tell you that the key works fine for thousands of users, there must be some other problem with your setup. Why not follow the guidelines on top of this forum and supply more info instead of angry shouting?

Mine worked fine for a few hours ago when I open again on the same computer, then I need to activate it. I do this as I have to work. but now i can see upon activation that i have only one activation left !!!! ?????

I only installed it on this one and the same PC !!
Isn't it fair then that such a strange program error happens that you are punished for it?

You haven't lost the ability to license Resolve on two systems as it will auto reset when you add the next.

Resolve worked earlier today. But now it wants to the activation key? Im not sure where I have physical key. Seams to be at home. Is there anyway to retreive it back?

You either have a physical key (dongle) or a software key.
Which one is it?

I got the software key.

I finally found it in a box in the storage with black magic cages and rigg stuff.

The same thing happened to me. Yesterday, I tried to open Resolve 15 (I'm using Windows 10), and it asked for the activation key. I tried entering the key several times, but every time it says there was an error and I must contact customer support. I have done so, and I'm waiting for their reply. Meanwhile, I uninstalled and reinstalled the software, but I get the same result.

This started suddenly yesterday without warning, and so far I have not found any explanation or solution for it. Has anyone had this problem and figured out how to resolve it?
