PostgreSQL on Mac

PostWed Jan 22, 2020 8:00 pm

I'm looking for documentation for using a Mac for the psql server. I'm running a psql service on one of the Resolve workstations (CentOS 7.6). That was a piece of cake to setup via command line. The Mac doesn't even know what psql command is.

The Mac appears to be listening:
netstat -ln | grep 5432
99a5ef9f46899799 stream 0 0 99a5ef9f48209cc9 0 0 0 /tmp/.s.PGSQL.5432

but I need to import their database into the Mac.

OK ... I managed to find the commands in /Library/PostgreSQL/9.5/bin.

Never mind. I was able to install Postgres from postgres.com. From there, I simply had to import my databases. It's all command line.

Thanks for the help!
