I am very confused. I do not have an activation key at all. I was able to download pro off of the box but when it asked for an activation key, there was absolutely nothing for me to use. How do I get an activation key?

You pay for the Studio version and then wait for it to come in the mail.

Not sure what box you’re talking here... but you may want to look for USB dangle, Resolve works with it too.

the camera box. on the bottom was the code to download resolve but then after i downloaded it it asked for an activation key, but i cant find it anywhere. theres no card....nothing

Inside the packaging of the camera there should be an activation key. It's a plastic card and extremely unusual that you dont have it, assuming its a new and recent camera purchase.
If you don't have it contact your camera reseller.

I have this exact same issue. Just bought a pocket cinema 6K but no code in the box for resolve studio...

You purchased a new camera from an authorized reseller? The box was shrink wrapped when it arrived?

Yes I brought it from B&H Photo in NYC, it was shrink wrapped.

Might need to start an exchange process, then.

I bought the Studio model with the speed editor. Opened the studio "envelope" and there was a memory card but no activation card.
