Render audio with effects applied?

PostSun Feb 02, 2020 8:32 pm

Hello, how do I render just an audio track with all effects (resolve and vst [izotope]) applied, it seems that it renders the audio, but does not apply all the effects when going to a wave file file.

The issue is a full feature edited, and the audio seems to be causing it to crash on render for days now, I think it may be the amount of audio post work that is bogging down the system so I was hoping to render audio first, than bring in the clean audio track so it has no audio processing to do.

I am not a mac person, but the system I am doing this on is their imac 5k seems powerful enough to handle the 4k footage and effects, until it crashes, prior to that it renders realtime, so I assume its capable of most of the work.

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

Bounce your final mix to another track, no need to export it.

You cannot render audio reliably with Izotope plugins applied. Any anomalies encountered during real-time playback will likely be baked into the renders, along with (possibly) some new ones. Use the "external audio processes" workflow for working with Izotope.

I don't use isotope plugins, but I have other plugins that have been problematic at times, and when I bounce the track I never have any issues.

If I had to guess, the issue is that resolve doesn't do well with plugins that have variable latency.

When you bounce a mix, latency, and synchronization aren't required.

Thanks, when bounced, it worked fine, izotope and all effects. Thanks for the advice
